I like you. You have the boldness of a much younger woman.30 Rock is one of the best shows on television and one of the wittiest shows ever. The best performance (although it's pretty hard to choose with the amazing Tracy Morgan (as Tracy Jordan) and Tina Fey (as Liz Lemon) in the running) is by Alec Baldwin.
Baldwin's Jack Donoghy is the Boss, the suit...and, somehow also manages to be one of the most complex, charming characters on TV. The banter between him and Lemon is incredible writing and some are obsessed with the idea of them ending up as a couple. While I don't necessarily see, or want to see, that happening (I loved Jack with liberal politician CC!), their teasing, combative exchanges (awkwardly interrupted by occational actual emotion) are wonderfully entertaining and inspired.
Big night, Lemon? Let me guess, meatball sub, extra bread, bottle of Nyquil, Tivo Top Chef, a little Miss Bonnie Raitt, lights out.
