Souter's saying farewell to the court (supposedly) and now the guessing about his replacement can begin (or continue...). Included in the potential replacements is Judge Kim McLane Wardlaw (Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (CA)), who I had the pleasure of working for a few years ago - I'd be incredibly excited to see her take the bench.) Judge Sonia Sotomayor seems to be the front runner currently.
