Two amazing shows from This American Life in September:Settling the Score: "Stories about the lengths we go to make things right, and about what money can and cannot fix." (don't read the rest of the description on the site, it just ruins it!)
Going Big: "Stories about people who take grand, sweeping approaches to solving problems of all sorts." The first story, about the Harlem Children's Zone was particularly moving and thought-provoking to me.
