I made pesto for the first time yesterday! Turned out pretty well, except for that one of my roommates is allergic to pine nuts so it was super garlicky without the nuttiness to offset the kick. Still pretty good though. I have an awesome recipe for pasta pesto & peas if you want it - if you don't mind mayonnaise...
